4/4/19 - This is a nice example of a 1934 Mauser that was issued to the German Army. This gun would have been produced just before the factory switched over to HSC production, around 1940 or so. It is Eagle/N proofed which helps to determine the date. It is also Nazi test proofed on the back left side of the frame and Eagle/655 proofed, indicating it was issued to the German Army. These guns are fairly rare with an estimate of only ~8,000 procured by the army. The original finish covers about 94-95% of the gun in a nice high-polish finish. Majority of finish loss is on the trigger guard and front strap but there is some additional thinning on the slide. Mint bore. Very nice grip, though it does have a small chip on the bottom corner of the left side. Comes with a reproduction holster.
