11/22/19 - This is an excellent example of a fairly scarce and interesting military training rifle. It's a Winchester Model 75 Target that was manufactured in 1941. That year, the US military ordered about 10,000 of these rifles to be used as trainers. They were parkerized, but not given military markings. This gun fits the bill and has nearly all of that parkerized finish remaining. It has a minty bore and excellent stock. Five round detachable magazine. Also comes with an excellent Hoyt sling, dated 1917.
