10/16/20 - This is a scarce and desirable Colt 1908 Model M Pocket Hammerless, Type II variation with the barrel bushing, made in 1910. There were only 6250 Type II .380 ACP Model M's made and they are difficult to find nowadays, especially in any decent condition. The grips and magazine are original and correct for this variation. The pistol is fully functional and still has tight mechanicals. The original high-polish blued finish is around 70%. Generally, there is wear around the muzzle, high edges, and on the straps. There are scratches throughout. A good amount of fire blue remains on the trigger. The bore is mostly shiny and has sharp rifling, with some small spots of fouling or corrosion near the chamber. The grips show wear at the bottoms, and the magazine has fading finish with some pitting. Overall it is a very nice example of this scarce early variation.
