3/29/19 - This is a super rare, "as new in the box" example of a first issue High-Standard Olympic pistol, chambered in .22 short. Only 2,500 of the first issue Olympic GO models were made in the late 1940s and were the flagship of the High-Standard line of target pistols. Nearly identical to their .22 LR "GE" cousins in appearance, these guns had an aluminum slide and were made for rapid fire Olympic games events, becoming the first US made target pistol to win an Olympic Gold. This is a rarely seen "combo", that comes with two different barrel lengths: 4 and 6 inch. The gun is near new with just a hint of "box" wear from shifting inside the box on the underside of the frame, retaining 98-99% of its original high polish blue. The grips are top of the line "ropers" in near mint condition. Bore is mint in both barrels. The original box lists the gun as a two barrel combo on the side label and is in excellent condition as well. The gun also comes with an original manual. Just a stunning, impossible to upgrade example.
