7/16/21 - This is a nice example of a scarce 1921-dated DWM Luger issued to the German police force during the Weimar Era. It is all matching and has Weimar-era police proofs on the right side of the slide. It has an added police sear safety and magazine safety, both intact. There is an "S.V.D. 261" police unit marking on the front strap. From research, we understand this the represent the Schutzpolizei of Oberhausen. The gun has retained between 85 and 90% of its original finish. There is wear on the side plate, side rails, left side of the frame, left side of the barrel, around the muzzle and at the base of the front strap. Scratchy wear on the front strap. There are areas of tiny pin-pricking throughout. Comes with slightly worn matching grips - chip in the left grip panel. Also comes with a matching magazine. The rifling in the bore is slightly worn with minor pin-pricking throughout.
