12/11/18 - This is an original WW2 era Mauser field replacement tool. This is a rare tool that was stamped "S/42" in the Mauser factory to be used as a field replacement for soldiers who lost or needed another tool on the battlefront. The tool has a distinct stamp on the front, and is in excellent condition. There is no rust or pitting except for maybe a small trace of wear on the front toe of the tool. Guaranteed original and authentic.
