8/11/20 - This is a nice, honest example of an original Remington 1911A1 from 1944. The gun is all original with proper HS barrel. The finish loss is nearly all on the front edge of the frame, and along the top and underside of the front end of the slide. Bore is clean and shiny. Correct inspector marks. Excellent grips. 'L' marked magazine. Comes with original US holster that does have a faded maker mark on the back but can't make it out.
