8/23/21 - This is a very nice example of a third variation Zero Series Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1939-40. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military proofs throughout, even on all the small parts. The gun has retained about 95-96% of its finish. However, we believe the slide has been refinished. There is wear around the muzzle, underside of the trigger guard, and scratchy wear and spotty oxidation on the front strap. Comes with excellent matching grips and two period-correct but mismatched zero series magazines. Also comes with an excellent 1943-dated P.38 holster. The number on the magazine is close but not matching. The bore has good rifling with spotty freckling throughout. De-cocker is functional.
