SOLD - No. 5 MK. I Jungle Carbine with Extras

6/14/18 - This is an original 1947 production Enfield No. 5 MK I Jungle Carbine. Comes complete with an original bayonet with scabbard & leather frog. Also has a sling and canvas bag (see photos). The receiver is stamped "F" for the Royal Ordnance Factory, and dated 7/47 (1947). This is the shorter and lighter version of the No.4 MK I. with a shortened forend and handguard. The finish on this rifle is excellent. The stock has no notable flaws, besides a few small indents on the underside of the stock. Some speculate this is a "kill count". The action is smooth and the black finish is excellent. The bore has strong rifling and very clean with minimal signs of use.
