3/30/20 - This is an original WW2 production nazi army dagger with an original portepee. The portepee has some light fraying on the string, but the ball "acorn" on the end is excellent. The dagger has a beautiful amber orange handle with no cracks or chips. The blade is maker stamped by P.D. LUNESSCHLOSS. The blade has age patina but no deep corrosion or pitting. Minor scabbard surface scratching and discoloration as shown in photos. The scabbard has light patina and normal signs of aging, but no dents. The cross guard has a distinct eagle insignia with minor corrosion and flaking. Priced accordingly.
