SOLD - Remington 03-A3 Sniper Rifle

6/13/17 - This is an original WW2 US Remington 03-A3 Sniper rifle. The rifle comes with an original period correct Weaver scope. The scope has excellent optics that are crystal clear and like-new. The scope has a very faint, hand-scribed etched serial number. This is how the scopes were numbered and issued. The scope has some thinning on the exterior finish but is in great shape overall. The receiver is phosphate and beautiful. Nearly flawless condition. The bolt and barrel are blued with no major issues and some normal wear in spots from mechanical use. The barrel is "RA" stamped and is dated December of 1943. The bore is excellent as well with very minimal wear. The wood stock is correctly cartouched, maker and inspector stamped, and has no major blemishes, cracks, or flaws. Guaranteed original and authentic, this sniper is a very cool piece of American history.
