10/7/20 - This is a very nice example of a Winchester Model 12 Riot Shotgun issued to the US Military in 1942. 20" barrel. "CYL" choke. 14.5" LOP. The gun is "US" property marked and has flaming bomb military proofs. It is all matching. It falls into the correct serial range for US Military-issued Winchester Model 12's. It has retained most of its arsenal parkerized finish. There is muzzle wear and high edge wear and thinning on the receiver. There is spotty oxidation throughout, most noticeable on the receiver. There are a few light surface scratches here and there. The front bead sight has been removed, most likely because it had a bayonet lug at one point. The stock is marked with the correct "GHD" inspector initials. The stock is in good condition with the exception of small dings, scratches, and chips throughout. The bore is shiny and minty. There is a small dimple about halfway down, but it should not affect accuracy.
