8/31/18 - This is an original WW2 Luftwaffe Drilling Rifle case that has been repainted. The result is a Drilling M 30 metal case in like-new condition. The only wear is some scuffing / residue on the lower right side of the base. This white residue is shown in photos and could likely be cleaned off. The rest of the case is excellent - as shown in photos. These are very scarce cases and make use as a great display piece for your collection or place holder for a WW2 Luftwaffe drilling.
