3/21/18 - This is an original WW1 era production Luger magazine. The magazine has a wood base and aluminum frame. The frame has some light brown patina in a few spots but overall is in good shape. The wood base has no major cracks or chips, and is serial numbered on the base. There is one small chip on one of the "ears" of the base. The number is 1725 with a + sign underneath. There also appears to be a light "q" letter suffix stamped. There are no other visible markings on the base. The magazine has a strong spring and is fully functional.
