5/27/21 - This is a very nice example of a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1918. The gun is all correct and has the proper military Eagle Head and "US Property" markings. The barrel is marked "H P". It has retained roughly 75-80% of its bluing. There is minor thinning throughout and wear along the high edges. While there isn't much actual finish loss, there is heavy brown patina under the finish throughout. Comes with excellent wood grips and a proper magazine. The bore has decent rifling with tiny pits throughout.
