9/23/20 - This is a Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle, chambered in .38 WCF. From the serial number, it was manufactured in 1894. Overall, the gun is in fair condition and seems to function properly. The metal parts are covered in a heavy layer of dark brown patina and there are areas of spotty oxidation throughout. There is some light surface scratching on top of the barrel. The dust cover is a little loose. Some minor dings on the top of the receiver. The stock is very nice. There are a few minor dings and a few more noticeable dings in the butt stock. There is a white paint mark on the top of the butt stock. The bore has some rifling, but there is pitting throughout.
