11/26/18 - This is an all original, matching and correct WWI example of Webley semi-auto pistol in .455 caliber. It is one of the Royal Navy contract guns, marked with an "N" for Navy on the left side of the slide. The pistol is also 1914 dated (date of manufacture). Profusely proofed, including the Vickers proof on top of the slide and on the right side of the slide. It remains in worn overall condition, with most of its original military finish worn off. The rating of about 60% comes from the lack of significant rust or pitting, except a few spots on the barrel. The original grips are in tact with no major cracks or chips. Original fully functional magazine included as well. The bore has nice rifling but there's some rust / wear throughout. The bore is a 6.5/10 overall. A very distinctive limited production WWI pistol, that was built like a tank. Guaranteed original and authentic.
