7/12/18 - This is an original and correct RZM marked Walther PPK from 1935. The RZM (Reichs Zeug Meisterei) was the equipment office of the NSDAP and was established to contract for equipment. These pistols were commonly thought to be issued to the German political leaders of the time. The bluing on this pistol rates at around 98%, with finish loss along the edges of the slide and the upper rounded portions of the slide. There is also an area of finish loss on the trigger guard. Early 90 degree safety has a little fire blue remaining. Excellent grip and finger extension magazine with no major cracks or chips. Nice, shiny bore.
