8/16/18 - This is a matching and original example of an Army issued Walther PP from late in the war. Made in 1944, the pistol features waffenamts on the frame and slide. The original finish rates at 85-90% with patina and thinning on the straps accounting for most of the finish loss. There is also a small spot of discoloration on the left side frame. Original grips have a small ding in the left panel, and you can just make out that a lanyard ring was removed from the frame. There are also some digits scratched into the underside of the slide and frame. Bore has strong rifling but frost in the grooves.
