11/7/19 - This is a minty, light brown ersatz holster. Ersatz holsters were made from layers of recycled paper. The leather/paper is very strong and firm and in excellent condition. The stitching is all tight and original with no missing stitches. The only leather piece is the closure strap. There are no markings on the holster. These were made at the end of WW2 when supplies were running low for the German army.
