1/10/19 - This P.38 rig came to us directly from the son of the Vet who brought it home. There is no documentation, but we can give the family name to the buyer. The gun is a Walther made, mid-war P.38 (AC43). The finish is original, about 92-94%, with most of the bluing loss on the front strap. (Typically very thin finish in the mid-war era). The gun has all matching parts including the slide, frame, barrel and locking block. All of the parts are properly eagle 359 military proofed, including the magazine. The grips are period correct. Functioning is very good. The de-cocker works properly. The bore is excellent - shiny with good rifling (9/10). The gun then comes with a proper wartime P.38 holster. The holster is dated 44. It is dyed black as the inside leather is black. The stitching is in very good condition. It also comes with a spare Eagle 88 marked magazine - a period correct Spreewerke magazine. Guaranteed original and authentic.
