8/26/19 - This is a nice Walther P.38, produced in 1942. This all matching gun has about 90-93% of its original, dull military finish. The wear is generally high edge wear, found on either side of the muzzle and front edge of the slide. Also some minor speckling found on the slide as shown in photos. Front strap has a few spots of discoloration as well. Magazine is E/359 proofed on the spine. Very nice deep brown, nearly black grips with no cracks or scratches. Bore is shiny with good rifling with minor areas of pitting, resulting in a 7.5/10 overall rating. Mechanically sound with smooth action.
