7/23/20 - This is an original Walther Model 8, chambered in .25 caliber. From the serial number, it was likely manufactured in 1927-28. It is an early production second variation, first run. It has retained about 90-9% of its original finish. There are spotty areas of wear along the top edges of both sides of the slide. Minor freckling around the muzzle. There is a "60" mark below the serial number on the right side of the gun. Warren Buxton stated that this mark was done at the Walther factory prior to finishing. Correct, excellent grips. Comes with a Walther banner mag. The slides sticks just slightly, but could probably use a bit of oil. The bore is shiny with strong rifling.
