12/20/18 - This is a military issued Colt M1917 revolver from the Great War era. This is a nice example of an original M1917, with the original matching numbered grips. The revolver shows even wear throughout in profile view, though the grip frame shows patina and thinning throughout. Right side frame also has a somewhat sizable area of thinning. Good timing and action. Barrel is UNITED STATES PROPERTY marked. Bore is nice and shiny.
