10/2/20 - This is a scarce and complete Mauser C96 rig with matching stock, harness and regimental unit marking on frame. This gun is the sister piece to the other C96 just listed, as they were likely made in the factory on the same day and later reunited. The gun has about 85% of the original blue with high edge wear that's common from rubbing against the inside of the stock. The grip frame is unit marked '2.G.A.1.4', which indicates it was sent to the second Garde Feld Artillerie regiment, and was the fourth gun issued to first company. The grips are matching to each other but not the pistol. The stock is matching numbered to the pistol but does have a crack that should be mentioned. Bore shows some use and frost but generally shiny with good rifling. The harness is marked but it appears double stamped and is hard to make out the exact markings.
