6/19/20 - This is a scarce Union Switch & Signal 1911A1 that comes to us from the son of the vet that carried it! Joseph Anderson was an Army signalman for the 71st Joint Assault Group in the invasion of the South Philippines. The listing is accompanied by a brief letter about Mr. Anderson, as well as some photos of him and his honorable discharge paperwork. The gun itself has lots of character and feels especially authentic. It's thinning and browning throughout, but appears to have all the original parts. HS barrel with a minty bore. Concentric circles on the barrel bushing. Excellent grips. 'A' marking on magazine.
