8/26/20 - This is a World War 2 Nazi Kriegsmarine enlisted sailor's U-Boat Cap. The cap is in great condition with original patch and pin. The pin indicates the sailor who wore it was assigned to U-296. The sub was a Type VIIC/41 U-boat. Her keel was laid in early 1943. She was eventually lost with all hands in March of 1945 in the Northern Channel off the coast of Northern Ireland.
