SOLD - U.S. Army Colt M1917 Revolver - Early Issue

1/8/18 - This is a nice, correct U.S. Army Colt M1917 revolver.  It is an early issue variation with GHS inspector mark, and was manufactured in 1917.  The original finish rates at maybe 90%, with a nice frame but notable finish loss on the straps.  The underside of the barrel is marked UNITED STATES PROPERTY, showing it was issued to the military.  Smooth walnut grips are numbered to the cylinder well and frame.  Excellent bore and action.
