2/6/20 - This is a terrific example of a rare Mauser P.38, made in 1942, the first year of production. There were fewer than 20,000 of this variation produced, which is a very low production total for any wartime P.38 variation. This particular gun is all matching with 95-97% of the original, dust blue finish remaining. There is minor finish loss on the left side of the barrel, and a little more on the right side of the slide. Mint bore and good mechanics. Excellent grips and a Mauser made magazine.
