10/11/19 - This is a near-mint Mauser P.38 from December of 1944. It has 99% of the original blue, with minor hints of high edge wear, and a small spot of thinning on the front strap. Mint bore. Excellent grips. Overall a beautiful piece with minimal-to-no wear, yet you might notice the barrel is mis-matching, only 4 serial numbers off. We believe this is a factory error due to late war "rushed" production. The condition of the barrel is congruent with the rest of the gun as well, another indicator this was a factory error.
