9/3/20 - This is a terrific, 1941 Mauser Luger Rig issued to the Nazi military in 1941. The chamber is dated 1941 and the toggle has the "byf" Mauser factory code. The rig comes with a waffenamt, 1941-dated holster, two original matching magazines, and an "Eagle 655"-marked Luger tool. The gun has the proper "Eagle 655" Nazi military proofs. It has retained about 97-98% of its original finish. There is very minor wear around the muzzle and side plate. There is spotty wear on the chamber and toggle. Minor wear at the back of the frame, near the "ears". Very minor freckling on the top of the back strap and small black dots of oxidation on the barrel. The gun is all matching. Minty grips that match the gun. On one of the matching magazines, it looks like the last number was originally a "5" and was stamped over with a "4" to match. Everything looks correct, so we believe this was an error corrected in the factory. The holster is in decent condition, but there is light scuffing and cracking in the leather, especially on the front. The bore is shiny with strong rifling with just very minor frosting.
