12/27/18 - This is an original early WW2 Type 14 Nambu made in 1944. The pistol is all correct and matching, including the grips but not the magazine. The magazine is a correct early style for the pistol though. The magazine can be removed without using the push button, but we think this is a common manufacturing flaw with Nambus in general. The magazine still holds the slide back properly and won't simply fall out of the gun - so the pistol remains fully functional. The overall condition is excellent with some of the gold wash on the trigger and magazine release in tact. There's minor muzzle wear and bluing loss on the trigger guard, barrel, and some normal edge wear. The bore is worn with residue / patina throughout and the grooves are somewhat shallow - 5/10 bore overall. Guaranteed original and fully functional.
