5/19/20 - This is all original Mauser C96 "Broomhandle" pistol M1930, made around 1933, and chambered in 7,63 mm Mauser. It is in beautiful, near mint, condition. There is just a bit of high edge wear, and a couple of thin surface scratches on the barrel that all likely come from the pistol being removed from the stock. The gun is a late variation with high polish finish, 5.5 inch barrel, and solid frame rails without lightening grooves. Mint bore and grips. It is a complete set that includes an all original shoulder stock in excellent condition and with no cracks. It is marked with Mauser "banner" on one side. The gun is all matching, including internal parts. It does not appear that it was fired more than a couple of magazines in its lifetime. All the markings are crisp, including the Mauser Oberndorf inscription on top of the chamber, a firing proof on the left side of the chamber, a Mauser "banner" on the left side of the frame and a patent marking on the right. An exceptional example of highly desirable, collectible, classic WWII german pistol.
