9/4/20 - This is a scarce Standard Products M1 Carbine, manufactured in 1944. Less than 250,000 of these guns were made, making up only about 4% of the total production during WW2. This particular gun was at least partially reworked for the Korean war as evidenced by the bayonet lug. A full parts list of all markings is included in the listing. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition. The appearance of the receiver leads us to believe it may have been touched up but the bolt is blued. The stock is excellent, just a few minor dings. It is smooth and may have been lightly sanded at some point. It is marked "W" on the grip and "S-HB" in the sling well. The bore is minty. Comes with one excellent magazine.
