5/17/17 - This is a rare SS-issued Walther PP, with both original matching numbered magazines, the original numbered box, and a wartime Walther tin and oiler. This is a 4th variation SS pistol, with about 97% original bluing. The finish loss can be found on some of the high edges of the slide, as well as the bottom of the back strap. The back strap also does show a sizable spot of patina/freckling on the surface, but it is not deep pitting. 4th variation SS Walther PP's feature spine-numbered magazines with P suffix, serial numbered slides, high-polish finish, and Eagle/N proofs on this late subvariation. The original box does show some flaking, as well as some adhesive applied to keep the frame of it sturdy. Correct wartime tin and oiler is included in the box. Excellent bore with no freckling or frosting.
