3/26/21 - This is an excellent example of a Springfield M1 Garand issued to the US military in January of 1945. 1945-dated barrel. The gun has been re-parkerized and the stock has likely been replaced. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition. There is wear on the gas cylinder, minor handling marks on the receiver, and pitting on the top of the bolt that has been finished over. There are no proofs on the stock. There are noticeable dings, dents, scratches, and small wood repairs throughout. The bore has weak rifling, and there is heavy oxidation throughout.
