10/15/20 - This is a very nice example of a Springfield Krag Model 1898, manufactured in 1899. Overall, it is in very nice condition. It has retained most of its original bluing, but there is spotty oxidation here and there. There is spotty wear on both sides of the receiver. The gun is fully functional and the action is buttery-smooth. The stock is marked with a "P" proof. It is in very nice condition except for some minor dings and dents. The bore has strong rifling, but there are some areas of pitting.
