10/6/20 - This is an excellent Springfield Armory M1D Garand Sniper rifle from 1945. The gun was upgraded to M1D specifications at the armory and has a barrel date of June, 1952. It has an original M84 telescopic sight with clear optics that was made by Libby-Owens Ford. SA marked trigger group, bolt carrier and hammer, with standard markings on the heel of receiver. Circle 'P' proof on stock. The leather cheek pad is dated to November of 1962. Canvas sling. Comes with the CMP bill of sale and certificate of authenticity.
