827/20 - This is a Springfield Armory M1 Garand with early receiver from 1941, that was re-worked at some point after the war. The barrel is SA produced but dated to November of 1965, while receiver dates to August of 1941. Excellent finish, though it was likely re-parkerized when the gun was re-worked. Beautiful stock but also likely a replacement with no external markings. Small import mark on right side of barrel. Bore is shiny with strong rifling. Muzzle is a 2, throat is less than 1.
