11/6/18 - This is a fairly unusual Sphinx model 2000 Competitor pistol. Made by Sphinx in Switzerland, these pistols are hand-tuned and made for competition shooting, home defense, and police use. Sphinx mainly makes pistols for special forces, elite police forces, and sports shooters. The Sphinx 2000 series is based on the CZ 75 pistol. They are short recoil operated, locked breech, and operates using a Double Action (DA/SA) trigger and external hammer. This pistol was made in .40 S&W and comes with the original manufacturer guarantee, serial numbered to the gun. Also included is the original serial numbered matching box. The pistol is in mint, like new condition. Guaranteed original and authentic.
