6/25/19 - This is a nice, honest example of a military Smith & Wesson Victory revolver from World War II. These guns were made from 1942 to 1944 with V-prefix in the serial, and a production run of about 500,000. They were standard issued side arms for US Navy and Marine air crews due to their size and ease of operation. This one is US PROPERTY marked with GHD inspectors stamp. The original finish rates at about 95% with minor thinning on the barrel, back strap and front of the frame. Minty bore with good timing and action. Period original grips but right panel is numbered to another Victory.
