8/22/19 - This is an excellent example of a scarce Walther P.38, with frame produced at the FN factory as evidenced by the E/140 proof. Krutzek's P.38 book estimates that only 7,300 frames were produced and used by FN on World War II original pistols. Made in August of 1944, the pistol is all matching and original with 96-97% blue, showing only minor thinning of the front strap, and some wear along the top of barrel. Mint bore and grips. Walther magazine. Good mechanics, including de-cocker.
