5/15/20 - This is a rare 480 code Walther P.38 from 1940. All numbered parts are matching, including the grips. The gun has retained between 80-85% of its original bluing. Most of the wear is on the right side of the slide, but there is also thinning and light patina on the front strap, wear around the muzzle, and wear on the high edges of the left side of the slide. The magazine is correct and original, with proper double E/359 stamp - it is numbered 6003d. Like most of the early Walther P.38's, the small parts are waffen proofed. Excellent, shiny bore. Good mechanics, including de-cocker.
