1/14/20 - This is a rare Walther KKW training rifle that was issued to the SA or Sturmabteilung, which was the Nazi party's original paramilitary. The rifle is all original and correct, with sharp SA cartouche in the stock, featuring the organizational logo and marked 'SA d.NSDAP'. We have only offered a few of these in our history, and this one is the finest example we've encountered. The bluing is fantastic, especially on the receiver. There's minor finish loss on the trigger assembly and barrel, but overall it's in fantastic shape. Eagle over N proofs on barrel and receiver would indicate the rifle was made in the 1940s. The stock is in great shape, with a few scratches on the left side but no major cracks or chips. Mint bore. The rifle comes with a period original bayonet and scabbard, both in very good condition. The bayonet is marked F.B. Radom on one side, and W.P. on the other. Scabbard is '43 dated and 'cof' maker marked.
