7/10/17 - This is a hard to find Springfield Armory 1911, manufactured in 1915. There were only about 30,000 of these made, all for use by the Americans in WW1, from 1914-1917. All parts are correct and original except the slide stop (replacement) and barrel, which is SP marked but from post-WWI. The original finish rates at about 85%, with some edge wear but clear patina showing through on much of the frame and slide. All other parts are proper for a Springfield Armory 1911 with proper 'S' markings. The bore shows some use but no pitting.
