1/3/19 - This is a super scarce and highly desirable Russian PSM, designed in the early 1970s and made in the Izhevsk Arsenal, occasionally referenced as a KGB “assassination pistol” as early steel ammunition was said to penetrate bulletproof vests. While we now know the intent was to provide high ranking officers with a less obtrusive pistol than the Makarov, the PSM remains as one of the Soviet’s most elusive and sought-after pistols. The gun is original and correct, rating at 99% blue with little to no finish loss but a small spot of surface pitting on the left side. Minty bore. It comes with a box of the original and scarce ammunition.
