8/26/19 - With only 7,500 produced, this is the scarcest Police Sauer 38h variation, offered along with the original capture documents. It is Eagle/F marked on trigger guard and all matching and original. The military style blue rates at 95-96% with basic muzzle and high edge thinning but no major flaws otherwise. The customs paperwork refers to this pistol by serial, though it is mistakenly written out as 468xxx instead of the correct 488xxx. The documents state it was brought back in May of 1945 by Melvin O'Keefe, Technician 4th Grade. The grouping comes with a signed letter from O'Keefe that mentions this gun by correct serial, and mentions the serial error on the certificates. There is a copy of his honorable discharge, as well as a transcript of a conversation with Mr. O'Keefe that discusses his time in service.
