8/14/20 - This is an original Walther PP issued to the Nazi police in about 1944. It is marked "Eagle F" on the left side of the trigger guard. It is of the scarce 3rd variation for these pistols - only about 5,000 were made. The gun is in excellent condition overall. The profile views are near-mint. Beautiful plumb-colored trigger. However, it is difficult to tell, but there appears to be some thinning on the straps. There is also some brown patina showing through on the straps. Very minor muzzle and high edge wear. There is a small area of discoloration running the length of the left side of the slide. Very minor freckling on the tang. The grips are excellent and appear to be a dark chocolate color. The bore is excellent and shiny. It comes with a period-correct wartime magazine.
