9/6/19 - This is a very nice example of a 1934 Mauser that was issued to the German Army. This gun would have been produced just before the factory switched over to HSC production, around 1940 or so. It is Eagle/N proofed which helps to determine the date. It is also Nazi test proofed on the back left side of the frame and Eagle/655 proofed, indicating it was issued to the German Army. These guns are fairly rare with an estimate of only ~8,000 procured by the army. The original finish covers about 96-97% of the gun in a nice high-polish finish. There is minor high edge wear on the slide, and a few thin scratches on the left side. Excellent bore. Very nice original grip, with some age and handling wear but no cracks or chips. Comes with a nice, original holster, which is made by J. Paul Perina in Dresden.
