4/4/18 - This is a fairly rare 1934 Mauser made in late 1939 or early 1940. This gun would have been produced just before the factory switched over to HSC production. It is Eagle/N proofed which helps to determine the date. It is also Nazi test proofed on the back left side of the frame and Eagle/655 proofed, indicating it was issued to the German Army. These guns are fairly rare with an estimate of only ~8,000 procured by the army. The original finish covers about 93-94% of the gun in a nice high-polish finish. It has the correct one piece wood grips and correct 1934 magazine. The bore is shiny and strong. Like all of these guns, the magazine is difficult to remove. A design flaw that was improved with the HSC design. This particular pistol also has a stiff safety lever and button, but they do work.
